Fabrikken ('the Factory') is a creative hub that co-locates 30 small businesses within the cultural, creative, and experience industries in Lillehammer. Fabrikken is housed in exciting premises in the former 'Steen og Strøm' furniture factory.
Fabrikken is both a workplace for inspiration & development for those who rent here, and an actor that also contributes with expertise and services to others. With our diversity of businesses, we are also an open meeting place for the public, offering experiences and shopping in a unique atmosphere.

Buy shares!
It is now possible to purchase individual shares in Fabrikken AS. There is no longer a minimum number of shares required (previously, this was 5 shares). The nominal value of each share is NOK 1,000.
New mural for the city anniversary!
Many were saddened when the city lost the traditional mural on the Falkenberg building in Jernbanegata. A large and visible artwork disappeared from the cityscape – and with it, a small piece of Lillehammer's history. We at Fabrikken want to give the city a new mural for the 200th anniversary!

Fabrikken is a limited company with 90 shareholders.
We host approximately 150 events per year.
For just 140 NOK, you can get a good lunch in the Factory Lounge.
Fabrikkens Tangent Fund awards 10,000 kroner every two years!
Workplace at Fabrikken
Fabrikken rents out 30 spaces of various sizes - from 9 to 100 sqm - suitable for offices, studios, workshops, and shops. You can also be a member without a fixed space at the factory.
Your event at Fabrikken
More and more companies, groups, individuals, artists, and cultural organizers have had the pleasure of hosting concerts, performances, Christmas parties, summer events, seminars, anniversaries, birthdays, annual meetings, and other gatherings at Fabrikken in Lillehammer.
Nutritional replenishment
We offer guidance to individual companies based on industry knowledge and the needs of the companies, in collaboration with our partners. We organize courses, seminars, and workshops for companies and other actors locally and regionally.
Fabrikken exhibition
Works from selected craftsmen are exhibited at Fabrikken, and the exhibition changes every four months. Works are displayed in the foyer at the main entrance and in the Assembly Hall.
Lunch
Fresh bread every day and all the toppings you could wish for. Some days soup, salad, and other surprises in addition. Always gluten-free and vegan options.
